The WeightChoice Program

Can You Fat-Proof Your Body in Just 7 Days?

The quick answer is that "Yes, you can", but the longer answer is "You'll get better results if you stretch those 7 days out, and don't try to do it all at once."

In the program manual, "Fat You, Skinny You!" we go to a great deal of effort to demonstrate that the truth is that you were born with a skinny mindset, and only learned to be overweight with great difficulty.

It's very rare (and I personally have never seen this, despite 30 years in the health sector) that a baby is born who is able to "over eat" or who doesn't have an almighty urge to move and to play.  That is your natural programming;  that is your true nature. 

To be capable of over eating, to be capable of being sedentary, you actually had to work at it.  You had to abuse your body over and over again through stuffing too much in, or through giving up chances to be active.

What Does the Program Involve?

This depends on how you choose to do the program.  Some people prefer to simply buy the manual and work through on their own, under the supervision of their doctor or specialist, while others elect to join as a member at WeightChoice and receive one-on-one support via the Weight Loss Support Centre, while others choose to work one-on-one in private with Christine.

Where you choose to engage with us one-on-one, whether that is Weight Loss Support Centre or via private consultation, we work with you to determine your unique physical and psychological factors that are behind your overweight, and we work with you to effectively remove those so that they can no longer sabotage you.  

The main focus of the program is teaching and helping you use simple methods to prevent your nervous system and gut from giving you false eating signals, and move you into higher mood states and stronger, more resilient, adaptive responses to your environment, including taking control of your time, and loving play time!

This is completely different to expecting you to use "willpower" to simply "try to see things differently".  We already know that you are doing the best that you can, and that may not even be keeping things under control, let alone working!

Instead we look at the unconscious responses that your nervous system is "doing to you" to produce to produce those eating signals, to lower your metabolic rate, and to increase your stress.  As hard as it may be to believe, we now have easy ways of impacting on those that don't involve medication or willpower!  This program is about showing you those methods.

Will I Have to Keep Using the Methods for the Rest of My Life?

No.  The aim of these methods is to make permanent adjustments to the way your nervous system works.  It's possible that you could become overweight again in the future, but far less likely.

How Fast Can I Expect Results?

Whilst our clinical experience and research shows rapid change, often immediately and usually within a few days, some people simply prefer to work more slowly and that's perfectly appropriate for them.
